Pilgrim house where Abdu’l Bahá would meet the early Eastern pilgrims – right next door to the Shrine of the Báb. Pilgrims don’t meet here officially any more but this is a place of pilgrimage as Abdu’l Bahá was often here after Bahá’u’lláh passed on. We were able to visit and use the library. This is the way we would take from the current pilgrim reception centre when going to pray at the Shrine of the Báb. The pilgrim reception centre was our home base where we would go to relax and socialize, eat, use the washrooms and rest when we weren’t on a pilgrimage outing.
